BINI's Journey to Stardom: Chapter 1: Born to Win Docuseries Premieres

The highly anticipated docuseries, Chapter 1: Born to Win, following the rise of the popular girl group BINI, premiered on September 23 at an exclusive screening in Quezon City. Directed by Jet Leyco, the series chronicles the group's journey from their humble beginnings at ABS-CBN's Star Hunt Academy in 2019 to their sold-out concert, BINIverse, in June 2024.

Members Jhoanna Robles, Colet Vergara, Maloi Ricalde, and Mikha Lim graced the red carpet, where fans were treated to a glimpse into the girls' personal lives and the challenges they faced on their path to stardom.

The docuseries begins by taking viewers back to the girls' childhood dreams and aspirations. It highlights their rigorous training, the struggles and triumphs they encountered, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and ABS-CBN shutdown on their journey. Fans will also witness the group's viral dance craze, "Pantropiko," and the first leg of their three-day concert at the New Frontier Theater.

Beyond the glitz and glamour of their performances, the series delves into the emotional side of the members, showcasing their fears, frustrations, and sacrifices. Fans will be able to connect with the girls on a deeper level as they witness their personal growth and unwavering determination.

One of the group's biggest hits, "Karera," takes center stage as the "theme song" of their journey. The series also reveals a teaser for new BINI merch coming in October and the title of the next episode: "Here With You."

BINI's fans, known as "Blooms," can look forward to the Grand BINIverse concert on November 16 and 17 at the Araneta Coliseum, marking the first anniversary of "Pantropiko."

The first installment of Chapter 1: Born to Win will be available for free on iWantTFC starting September 26.
